The Bonsucro Awards programme returns for its ninth year to recognise individuals, companies and organisations that significantly contribute towards achieving the Bonsucro mission: responsible sugarcane production creates lasting value for the people, communities, businesses, economies and eco-systems in all cane growing origins.

Nominations are open and candidates do not have to be members of Bonsucro, or have their work directly linked to Bonsucro. You are invited to nominate any individual or organisation that you feel is worthy of this award, including yourself. But, you may only make one submission.

Entering the awards is simple: tell us about an initiative that is connected to either people, planet or profit. We are looking for a short summary that provides the context of your work – what was the need for the initiative, what were its goals and how was it implemented? We also want to know what makes it significant – tell us what you’ve achieved and the impact it had on people, planet or profit.

Finally, this year, we have connected the awards to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We ask you to select up to three SDGs that your initiative connects to – and how.

You can send us supporting images and materials – but please keep written documents to one-page summaries.

The nominations will be assessed by the Awards Committee, who will select three Bonsucro Inspire Award winners – one for each of the pillars of sustainability – people, planet and profit. You can submit your entry here or with the button at the bottom of the page.
